We do not currently send, nor do we plan to send, marketing or promotional emails. 4. Artificial intelligence & technology services
In Short: We may use artificial intelligence tools in connection with consulting services, but we never input client data into these tools without explicit contractual agreement.Chanua Consulting & Advisory, LLC may provide consulting services involving artificial intelligence, automation tools, software platforms, and other technology solutions.
Website Functionality
Our website does not currently provide AI-powered tools, chatbots, image generators, or automated decision-making systems for public use.
Use of AI in Consulting
If you engage us for consulting services, we may use third-party AI platforms — which may include tools such as Manus, Claude (Anthropic), and ChatGPT (OpenAI), among others — to assist with general research, analysis, content development, process improvement, or automation recommendations. The specific tools we use may change at any time as we evaluate the best available technologies.
Protection of Client Data
We strictly protect client confidentiality. We will not input any customer information or client data into any AI tool unless specifically discussed and agreed upon in writing in client contracts and agreements. Any use of AI tools without such an agreement will be strictly general and non-specific to any client. Chanua Consulting & Advisory maintains policies designed to prevent confidential client information, including credentials, financial records, and tax information, from being entered into AI systems unless expressly authorized in writing by the client and permitted under applicable agreements.

5. How long do we keep your information?
In Short: We keep your information for specific retention periods based on your relationship with us, unless otherwise required by law.We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice. Our specific retention periods are as follows:
- Non-Client Data: Information from individuals who inquire but do not become clients (e.g., contact form submissions, email inquiries) is retained for seven (7) years.
- Client Data: Information related to active and completed consulting engagements is retained for the term of the engagement plus seven (7) years to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal compliance requirements.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible. We do not currently have an automated data deletion process; data is manually purged upon the expiration of the applicable retention period.
6. How do we keep your information safe?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
Data Breach Response
In the event of a data breach that compromises personal information, we will notify affected users and the relevant state Attorney General as necessary and as soon as we become aware of the breach, in accordance with applicable laws including Missouri's data breach notification requirements (Mo. Rev. Stat. § 407.1500).

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information.
